His favorite part of designing a celebration is watching folks get into the idea of eating local and seasonal. Being a farmer, it feels good to him to be able to share that information.

When it comes to unusual events at a wedding Keith says he’ll never forget a bride and groom who were huge NASCAR fans arriving in a stretch NASCAR limo and having their first dance to “Life Is A Highway”.

In a world of information at your very fingertips, it is a common occurrence to receive ‘bad’ information. Like old fish-tales, stories get distorted and the truth slowly gets wrung out of the facts.

This is very common within the world of event catering. From TV shows to friends who have ‘done this before’ and everywhere in between, sometimes things people know as ‘fact’ are actually far from it.

The team at A Thyme to Cook put our heads together and came up with 10 common statements we hear a lot and feel need some real answers.

Or thirds or fourths or fifths….

This past weekend we continued our celebration of our 30th anniversary with a picnic here at the Cookery.

Staff, current and past, came together on a beautiful day to share stories, memories and catch up.

With the grill delivering fantastic goodies and a buffet of pot-luck sides and desserts, no one left hungry!

This kind of celebration really makes our managers jump for joy!
